DJ Godfrey was seriously above and beyond my expectations. From our conversations beforehand to the day of the event, he was the ultimate professional. He helped us have an absolutely phenomenal party to celebrate my dad's retirement.
The music was excellent (perfect mix of genres, just like I requested). He created such a festive vibe, and he genuinely knows how to move a crowd!! DJ Imani did an amazing job for my family’s birthday party. He was very responsive in his communication during the planning phase. He accommodated our all of our musical selections which really pleased our guests, playing an array of genres from pop, r&b, soul, soca, calypso, and reggae/dancehall. On the day of our event, he blended in seamlessly with the coordination of the program. His had very professional sound and light equipment. For our wedding, we chose DJ Godfrey of Imani International, and our experience was nothing short of perfect. We have all been to weddings and parties where the DJs were terrible, so we were determined for that not to be the case with our wedding. Our experience with DJ Godfrey was beyond outstanding. He totally blew us away.
Godfrey made our reception the perfect celebration by curating a playlist of past and present music that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, including some of our older relatives who haven’t danced like that in decades. If the venue had allowed it, I think everyone could have easily danced another few hours.
Throughout the entire evening, we had guests coming up to tell us how awesome the music was, how much fun they were having, and how our wedding reception was the best they had ever been to. A week later, many were telling us that they were still recovering. Some even asked when we were planning on doing it again 😂.
